About TWICE

TWICE is a nine-member girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the 2015 survival show "Sixteen," consisting of Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu, with members from South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. They debuted on October 20, 2015 with the EP "The Story Begins" and its single "Like Ooh-Ahh." The group became one of the defining girl groups of the mid-2010s on the strength of bright, catchy singles such as "Cheer Up," "TT," and "Fancy," dominating domestic charts and music shows for years. TWICE later expanded successfully into Japan and the United States, charting multiple albums in the top ten of the US Billboard 200 and selling out arena and stadium tours. Known for approachable concepts and consistent commercial output, TWICE are regarded as one of the most successful girl groups of K-pop's third generation.
