About Tzuyu

Tzuyu is a Taiwanese singer under JYP Entertainment, best known as a member of the girl group TWICE, with which she debuted in 2015 after appearing on the survival show Sixteen. As the group's youngest member and a visual, she contributed to TWICE's run as one of K-pop's leading third-generation girl groups. She made her solo debut on September 6, 2024 with the EP "abouTZU," released through JYP Entertainment and Republic Records. The six-track project, whose title combines "about" with her name, was led by the synth-pop single "Run Away" and featured collaborations with Peniel of BtoB and rapper pH-1, along with a self-written ballad. The EP charted strongly on both the Circle Album Chart and the US Billboard 200, reflecting the international reach she carried from TWICE. Throughout TWICE's career she was a consistent presence in the group's many chart-topping releases and stadium-scale tours. As one of the most prominent Taiwanese artists in K-pop, Tzuyu's solo debut gave her an individual pop identity alongside her continued work within TWICE, and her crossover appeal extended across both Korean and broader Asian markets.
