About Jihyo

Jihyo (Park Ji-hyo) is a South Korean singer and the leader of the girl group TWICE, which debuted under JYP Entertainment in 2015. A longtime JYP trainee before her debut, she is one of TWICE's main vocalists and has been central to the group's run of fourth-generation hits. Jihyo made her solo debut on August 18, 2023 with the EP "Zone," led by the single "Killin' Me Good," becoming the second TWICE member to release a solo project after Nayeon. The R&B-leaning EP, which featured collaborations with 24kGoldn and Heize and included tracks she co-wrote, debuted at number one on Circle Album Chart with strong first-week sales and charted internationally. Her solo work showcases a more personal, vocal-driven style than TWICE's brighter group concepts. Within K-pop she is recognized for her vocal ability and her role anchoring one of the most commercially successful girl groups of her era, both as leader and as a frequent center on the group's releases.
