About Taemin

Taemin (Lee Tae-min) is a South Korean singer and dancer who debuted as the youngest member of SHINee under SM Entertainment in 2008. Regarded as one of K-pop's most influential performers, he launched his solo career on August 18, 2014 with the EP "Ace," led by the single "Danger." His solo work is known for its art-pop and dance-driven concepts, with the 2017 album "Move" and its title track becoming especially acclaimed for their choreography and androgynous styling. Taemin released further full-length albums including "Never Gonna Dance Again" and built a strong following in Japan with Japanese-language releases. In 2019 he joined the SM supergroup SuperM as a member alongside artists from EXO, NCT, and WayV. Bridging the second and third generations through his long career, Taemin is frequently cited as a key reference point for younger idols who name him as a dance and performance influence, and his solo discography is often discussed as a benchmark for art-pop within mainstream K-pop.
