WayV are a China-based group operating as a subunit of NCT under SM Entertainment's China-exclusive label, Label V. They debuted on January 17, 2019 with the digital EP "The Vision," led by a Chinese-language version of NCT 127's "Regular." The debut lineup featured seven members: Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang. Their group name is taken to stand for "We Are Your Vision."
