The song is a dance track built on languid bossa nova guitar, a laid-back reggae rhythm, and a smooth house groove, softer and more atmospheric than the group’s brighter summer singles. Joy wrote the lyrics, about holding onto the memory of one hot summer while making another alongside someone. The five-track set also includes "Hula Hoop" and the acoustic "Hawaii," which Joy wrote on her own. It is the group’s first full-group release in about two years.
