About Minnie

Minnie (Nicha Yontararak) is a Thai singer based in South Korea and a member of the girl group (G)I-DLE, which debuted under Cube Entertainment on May 2, 2018. Born in Bangkok in 1997, she joined Cube after auditioning in Thailand and is one of the group's main vocalists, also contributing to songwriting on several (G)I-DLE releases. As part of the group she has been central to fourth-generation hits including "Latata," "Tomboy," and "Queencard." Minnie made her solo debut on January 21, 2025 with the EP "Her," becoming the fourth (G)I-DLE member to release solo music after Soyeon, Miyeon, and Yuqi. Her solo work showcases a softer, vocal-forward pop style distinct from the group's bolder concepts, leaning into a more intimate sound than (G)I-DLE's hard-edged singles. Within K-pop she is known both for her vocal range and her contributions to the group's songwriting, and for being one of the prominent Thai idols of her generation alongside fellow Thai artists who debuted in Korea in the late 2010s.
