LE SSERAFIM is a five-member girl group formed by Source Music, a label under HYBE. The members are Sakura, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, and Hong Eunchae. They debuted on May 2, 2022 with the EP "Fearless," becoming the first girl group launched under HYBE. The group's name is an anagram of the phrase "I'm Fearless," reflecting a concept centered on confidence and self-determination. Sakura, previously of HKT48 and IZ*ONE, and Kim Chaewon, also formerly of IZ*ONE, anchor a lineup that includes Japanese ballerina turned idol Kazuha. Their second EP, "Antifragile," became their first release to sell over a million copies and pushed the group onto the US Billboard 200. The 2023 studio album "Unforgiven" gave them their first number one on the Circle Album Chart and a top-ten placing on the Billboard 200. LE SSERAFIM have performed at international festivals and built a reputation for polished choreography and a strong visual identity. They are counted among the leading girl groups of K-pop's fourth generation.
