About YENA

YENA, born Choi Ye-na, is a South Korean singer and television personality signed to YUEHUA Entertainment. She first gained recognition on the 2018 reality competition series Produce 48, where she placed fourth and was selected as a member of the project group IZ*ONE. She promoted with IZ*ONE from their 2018 debut until the group disbanded in 2021. On January 17, 2022, she began her solo career with the EP Smiley, working primarily in pop. She has since released a steady string of extended plays and single albums, including Smartphone (2022), the single albums Love War (2023) and Hate XX (2023), the EP Good Morning (2024), and the EP Blooming Wings (2025). Alongside her music, she has taken on work as a television host and entertainer. Her solo output is characterized by bright, upbeat pop with a playful concept that has become associated with her image as a performer.
