TEN returned on September 4, 2026 with the single "OUTWEST," his first release under ILLIMNT, an agency established for his solo work. A second track, "IRL," followed with its own music video later in the month as promotions wrapped. The release marks a shift to running his own output after years of group activity with WayV and NCT's rotating lineups.
