Park Bom is a South Korean singer best known as the main vocalist of the YG Entertainment girl group 2NE1, one of the most successful girl groups of its generation, active from 2009 until its disbandment at the end of 2016. Known for her powerful, distinctive vocal tone, she anchored many of 2NE1's biggest hits. As a soloist she released the single "You and I" in 2009, which topped the national digital chart and won Best Digital Single at the 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards. After leaving YG she signed with D-Nation Entertainment in 2018 and released the comeback single "Spring" in 2019, followed by further solo releases. Before 2NE1 she debuted in YG as a featured and supporting vocalist on labelmates' tracks. Park returned to group activities when 2NE1 reunited in 2024. She remains closely associated with the ballad-leaning, vocally driven style that defined her contributions to 2NE1.
