Minho, born Choi Min-ho, is a South Korean singer, rapper, lyricist, and actor under SM Entertainment, best known as a member of the boy group SHINee, which debuted in May 2008. Within SHINee he handles much of the group's rap, and he has contributed lyrics across their work. He made his official solo debut on December 6, 2022, with the EP "Chase," his first solo project after more than a decade with the group, featuring six hip-hop and R&B tracks that topped iTunes album charts in numerous regions on release. Alongside music, Minho has built a substantial acting career, beginning with a 2010 television role and continuing through dramas and films including "To the Beautiful You" and "Hwarang."
