Jimin is a South Korean singer and dancer and a member of BTS, with whom he debuted in 2013. He launched his solo career in 2023 with the EP "Face," which reached number two on the US Billboard 200. Its lead single "Like Crazy" became the first song by a South Korean solo artist to debut at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, a milestone in K-pop's chart history. In 2024 he released his second album, "Muse," a warmer, love-themed record whose lead single "Who" topped the Billboard Global 200 and became a long-running streaming success. Jimin co-wrote and co-produced much of his solo material, working with international songwriters and producers. Recognized for his vocal tone and dance ability within BTS, he paused activity to complete mandatory military service alongside his groupmates. Jimin is regarded as one of the most commercially successful soloists from K-pop's third generation.
