fromis_9 are a South Korean girl group formed through the 2017 reality competition program "Idol School." They debuted on January 24, 2018 with the EP "To. Heart," originally with nine members: Lee Saerom, Song Hayoung, Park Jiwon, Roh Jisun, Lee Seoyeon, Lee Chaeyoung, Lee Nagyung, Baek Jiheon, and Jang Gyuri. The group came under the management of PLEDIS Entertainment, where it became known for bright, melodic pop and synchronized choreography. Jang Gyuri left in 2021, leaving an eight-member lineup. fromis_9 built a strong run of releases including "Love Bomb," "Feel Good (SECRET CODE)," "WE GO," and "Stay This Way," with several charting well in South Korea and gaining traction internationally. Associated with K-pop's fourth generation, the group is recognized for its cheerful sound and tight performances. fromis_9 parted ways with PLEDIS Entertainment at the end of 2024.
