X:IN released their first full-length album, Chain Reaction, on October 6, 2026, led by "ZZIRIT" featuring the Brazilian singer LuĂsa Sonza. The title track builds on a repeated "zzirit-zzirit" effect over a dynamic beat, and the album's eleven tracks are organized around chemistry and chain reactions, with songs such as "Brain Chemistry," "Octane," and "Zero Kelvin." All of the members took part in writing lyrics for the record, and "Neurotoxin" brings in the singer tiLLie.

X:IN is a multinational girl group based in South Korea. The name is a stylized form of EXIN, taken from a Latin word meaning furthermore, with the X representing an unknown variable and the group's aim to explore open-ended possibilities in music and performance. X:IN debuted on April 11, 2023, with the single "Keeping the Fire," after first performing the pre-debut song "Who Am I" on an online broadcast program. The lineup brings together members from South Korea, Russia, and India. Nova performed with a Russian dance cover team and worked as a voice actress before joining, while Aria, a former child actress in Malayalam cinema, became one of the first Indian performers to debut in a K-pop group. E.sha, known for her dancing, choreographs much of the group's material. That cross-border makeup has shaped both the group's image and its international following, reflected in releases such as "Seoul-Moskva," which draws on the members' different backgrounds.
