About WJSN

WJSN, also known as Cosmic Girls, are a South Korean girl group managed by Starship Entertainment, originally formed through a partnership with China's Yuehua Entertainment as a multinational act. They debuted on February 25, 2016 with the EP Would You Like? as a twelve-member group, with a thirteenth member, Yeonjung, added later that year following the EP The Secret. The debut lineup included EXY, SeolA, Bona, Soobin, Eunseo, Dayoung, Yeoreum, Luda, Dawon, and several members from China, including Cheng Xiao, Meng Meiqi, and Wu Xuanyi. The group is known for a dreamy, fantasy-leaning concept and bright pop sound, with breakout recognition coming from singles such as "Secret" and "Boogie Up." In 2023 its three Chinese members departed. WJSN have also fielded sub-units, and several members have taken part in survival programs, contributing to the group's profile among third-generation girl groups.
