About VIXX

VIXX is a South Korean boy group formed by Jellyfish Entertainment, debuting in May 2012. The six-member group earned a distinctive reputation as concept specialists, building theatrical, story-driven music videos and dark, dramatic themes that set them apart from brighter contemporaries. Singles such as "On and On," "Hyde," "Voodoo Doll," "Error," and "Chained Up" defined this identity and showcased the group's polished choreography. VIXX also released music through the subunit VIXX LR, and several members pursued acting, musical theater, and solo work, with Ravi establishing himself as a rapper and producer. The group built an international touring presence and a dedicated fandom named Starlight. VIXX is widely regarded as one of the third generation's pioneers of the strong narrative concept, an approach that became far more common in the years after their debut. Their catalog remains a reference point for groups built around cohesive visual and thematic storytelling.
