THE BOYZ are a South Korean boy group created by Cre.ker Entertainment, later part of IST Entertainment. They debuted on December 6, 2017 with the EP The First as a twelve-member group: Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Hwall, Sunwoo, and Eric. Before debut the members were introduced through the reality show Flower Snack. The group built a reputation for precise performance and dance, and in 2020 they won the Mnet survival competition Road to Kingdom, which broadened their visibility and preceded a run of stronger commercial releases. Their music spans bright concepts and darker, more dramatic title tracks across EPs and full-length albums. Hwall departed the group in October 2019, leaving an eleven-member lineup for several years. THE BOYZ are counted among the prominent fourth-generation K-pop boy groups, with a global fan base known as The B.
