About Rosé

Rosé is a New Zealand-raised South Korean singer and a member of BLACKPINK, with whom she debuted in 2016. She first released solo music through YG Entertainment in 2021 with the single album "R," whose lead track "On the Ground" topped the Billboard Global 200, making her the first artist to reach number one on that chart both as a soloist and as part of a group. After signing with The Black Label, she released her debut studio album "Rosie" in December 2024, which reached number three on the US Billboard 200. Its lead single "APT.," a collaboration with Bruno Mars built around a Korean drinking-game chant, became a major international hit and one of the most commercially successful songs by a K-pop artist. Rosé's solo work blends pop and singer-songwriter sensibilities, and she is regarded as one of the most globally successful soloists from K-pop's third generation.
