The release is the group’s first comeback in more than two years.

The group currently consists of ten members: Jaehan, Hwichan, Sebin, Hangyeom, Taedong, Xen, Jehyun, Kevin, Hyuk, and Yechan, performing in a K-pop style. It debuted under Spire Entertainment with the extended plays Vamos and What's Goin' On, and went on to release the EP Love Me Like and the studio album Story Written in Music, along with a Japanese debut. In late 2022 the members entered a management dispute with Spire Entertainment and later prevailed in legal proceedings that freed them from the company. The group is counted among the fourth generation of K-pop acts that emerged in the early 2020s.
