About Kim Jaejoong

Kim Jae-joong is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. He rose to fame in 2003 as a member of TVXQ (Dong Bang Shin Ki), one of the most influential and commercially successful groups of K-pop's second generation, achieving major popularity across Korea, Japan, and the wider Asian market. In 2010, he and two fellow members formed the group JYJ. Kim launched his solo music career in 2013, releasing material in both Korea and Japan, where he commands an especially devoted following, and his solo work spans rock, pop, and ballad styles. Alongside music he has built a substantial acting career, appearing in Korean television dramas across a range of genres, and he later founded his own agency, iNKODE. Performing under stage names including Hero Jaejoong, he is regarded as one of the defining idols of his era and remains a versatile, enduring figure in Asian popular music, known for both his vocal ability and his on-screen work.
