KickFlip released their fifth mini album, KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1, on October 6, 2026, with the group's first double title tracks, "Kick Off The Wall" featuring iann dior and "Puzzle Piece." The members describe the pair as two halves of one story, with "Puzzle Piece" searching for an answer and "Kick Off The Wall" confronting it. Members Kyehoon and Donghwa wrote lyrics for the title track, and the eight-song album moves between dance, EDM, rock, and trap.

KickFlip is a South Korean boy group managed by JYP Entertainment, formed in part through Loud, the 2021 SBS reality competition co-hosted by JYP Entertainment and P Nation. Several members, including Kyehoon, Keiju, and Amaru, were first selected through that show, and the final seven-member lineup was previewed in late 2024 when JYP founder Park Jin-young introduced a silhouette of the group at the MAMA Awards in Los Angeles. KickFlip debuted on January 20, 2025, with the extended play Flip It, Kick It! and its lead single "Mama Said." The group's name refers to the skateboarding trick, chosen to signal an ambition to break conventions through bold performances. Its debut extended play topped Korea's Circle Album Chart, and KickFlip went on to collect rookie honors that year, including Best New Artist at the Asia Artist Awards and Rookie of the Year at the Seoul Music Awards. The group carries a performance-forward identity within a label long known for developing new acts.
