About INFINITE

INFINITE are a South Korean boy group formed by Woollim Entertainment, the company's first boy group. They debuted on June 9, 2010 with the mini-album First Invasion as a seven-member act: Sunggyu, Dongwoo, Woohyun, Hoya, Sungyeol, L (Myungsoo), and Sungjong. The group became known for tightly synchronized choreography and a distinctive retro-leaning, synth-driven sound, breaking through with the 2011 single "Be Mine" and later hits such as "The Chaser." Several members pursued sub-units, solo music, and acting alongside the group's activities. Hoya departed in 2017, leaving a six-member lineup. In the early 2020s the remaining members concluded their contracts with Woollim while continuing to work together as a group independently. INFINITE are regarded as one of the defining second-generation boy groups, with a devoted fan base known as Inspirit and a reputation for precise, performance-focused live shows.
