About iKON

iKON are a South Korean boy group who debuted on September 15, 2015 under YG Entertainment with the studio album "Welcome Back." The group was formed through the reality survival shows "WIN: Who Is Next" and "Mix & Match," and debuted with seven members: B.I, Bobby, Jay (Jinhwan), Yunhyeong, Junhoe, Donghyuk, and Chanwoo. Their debut album topped the South Korean album chart and yielded several number-one singles, and they later achieved one of their biggest hits with the 2018 single "Love Scenario," which dominated domestic charts. The group blends hip-hop with pop and was known early on for self-produced material led by B.I, who departed the group in 2019. The remaining members continued as a six-piece, and the group later moved from YG Entertainment to 143 Entertainment. Associated with K-pop's third generation, iKON are recognized for their songwriting and a string of commercially successful domestic singles.
