Highlight are a South Korean boy group, previously known as Beast (stylized B2ST), which originally debuted in 2009 under Cube Entertainment and became one of the most successful second-generation boy groups. In late 2016 the members moved to their own agency, Around Us Entertainment, and because the Beast name was trademarked by their former company, they re-debuted under the name Highlight. The re-debut came in 2017 with the EP Can You Feel It?, featuring members Yoon Doojoon, Yong Junhyung, Yang Yoseob, Lee Gikwang, and Son Dongwoon. Junhyung departed the group in March 2019. Highlight carried forward the polished, melodic pop sound the members were known for, continuing a career that spans both the Beast and Highlight eras. As veterans who built and then took ownership of their own label, the group occupies a notable place among long-running second-generation acts.
