Single · Sep 8, 2026

HaSeul released the digital single "Afterglow" on September 8, 2026. The song works in city pop, pulling in jazz phrasing and a rock-leaning rhythm section rather than staying inside the genre's usual polish. Its lyrics compare a feeling that never reaches its object to starlight that travels for millions of years and goes dark before arriving. The release continues her solo output alongside ARTMS, where she is a member.

About HaSeul

HaSeul (born Jo Ha-seul; August 18, 1997) is a South Korean singer and the leader of the girl group ARTMS, formed under Modhaus in 2024. She first debuted in 2016 as the third member revealed in Loona's pre-debut project, releasing her solo single "Let Me In" on December 15, 2016. Within Loona she led both the full group and its subunit Loona 1/3, contributing vocals across the act's conceptual, interconnected releases. After she and several members entered contractual disputes with the group's former agency, Blockberry Creative, in 2022, she left and signed with Modhaus, the company founded by Loona's original creative director. There she reunited with former groupmates to form ARTMS, which debuted in 2024. HaSeul is associated with a soft, folk-leaning vocal style and has continued both solo and group work under Modhaus, including digital singles, and has participated in songwriting on some of her releases.
