FTISLAND released "Lemonade," their 21st Japanese single, on September 2, 2026. The title track leans into pop punk on top of the band's rock foundation, with a lighter and more playful lyrical tone than usual, using the sweet and sour taste of lemonade as a metaphor for taking on challenges again and again. The three-track single also includes "Mask" and "When you're close," and the song was written to be performed on the band's FaTe tour in Japan.

About FTISLAND

FTISLAND, short for Five Treasure Island, is a South Korean rock band formed by FNC Entertainment. The band debuted on June 7, 2007, on the music program M Countdown with the single "Love Sick," which topped Korean charts for eight consecutive weeks, and its debut studio album Cheerful Sensibility ranked among the best-selling albums of that year. FTISLAND won Best New Male Group at the Mnet Asian Music Awards in 2007, along with rookie and popularity honors at the Golden Disc Awards. The band made its Japanese debut in 2008 and built a large following there after its third Japanese studio album, Five Treasure Island, topped the Oricon Albums Chart in 2011. FTISLAND became the first foreign male band, and the first band in 42 years, to top the Oricon daily chart. Fronted by vocalist Lee Hong-gi, the band has stayed active in both Korea and Japan across a long career, making it one of the longest-running bands to emerge from K-pop's second generation.
