About D.O.

D.O. is the stage name of Doh Kyung-soo, a South Korean singer and actor who debuted in 2012 as a member of EXO under SM Entertainment. Known within the group as a lead vocalist, he built a parallel career in film and television acting alongside his music work. He made his solo musical debut on July 26, 2021 with the mini album "Empathy," a warm, acoustic-leaning set of pop and ballad tracks that contrasted with EXO's heavier sound; he co-wrote the title track "Rose" and the song "I'm Fine." The release topped iTunes album charts in numerous countries and drew praise for its understated, vocal-centered style. After his contract with SM Entertainment ended in late 2023, he spent time with Company SOOSOO, a label founded by his longtime manager, before signing with Blitzway Entertainment in 2025 to continue his solo music and acting work. As both an EXO member and a soloist, D.O. is associated with K-pop's third generation and is recognized for his tone and balladry.
