Big Ocean released their sixth digital single, "Love Sign," on September 9, 2026. The song is built on a nu-disco groove with largely English lyrics, and its title plays on two readings of asking someone for their sign. The chorus hook is constructed around the names of sign languages from different countries, including American, British, and Korean. It was produced by the deaf producer Frankie Biggz, and is the group's most pop-leaning release to date.

Big Ocean is a South Korean boy group under Parastar Entertainment, an agency that works with artists who have disabilities. The group debuted on April 20, 2024, the Day of Persons with Disabilities in South Korea, with the single "Glow." Big Ocean is composed of three members, Chanyeon, PJ, and Jiseok, all of whom are hard of hearing with varying degrees of hearing loss, and they are widely described as the first hard-of-hearing K-pop group. Their performances integrate Korean Sign Language, American Sign Language, and International Sign alongside vocals and choreography, and the members describe their sound as "free soul pop." The group released its first EP, Follow, in November 2024, and a second EP, Underwater, in April 2025. Big Ocean has been noted internationally for its accessibility-focused approach, receiving recognition such as a Billboard "K-Pop Rookie of the Month" feature and a place on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list in 2025.
