About ASTRO

ASTRO are a South Korean boy group formed by Fantagio, debuting on February 23, 2016 with the EP "Spring Up" and its lead single "Hide & Seek." The group came out of Fantagio's i-Teen rookie program and debuted with six members: JinJin, MJ, Cha Eunwoo, Moonbin, Rocky, and Sanha. Known for a bright, youthful concept and polished synchronized choreography, ASTRO were named by Billboard among the best new K-pop groups of 2016. The group built its reputation through releases such as "Crazy Sexy Cool" and "All Night," while several members pursued parallel careers in acting, musical theater, and a sub-unit, ASTRO Moonbin & Sanha. Cha Eunwoo in particular became widely recognized as an actor and brand model, while JinJin served as the group's leader and a rapper. The group's earlier releases leaned into a fresh, summery image before later material adopted more mature concepts. As a third-generation act, ASTRO established a steady presence in both Korea and international markets, with a fandom known as Aroha supporting the group across its album campaigns and concert tours, and the members balanced group promotions with active individual schedules in acting and music.
